Step-by-Step Preparation
Step 1: Preparing the Puri
Take semolina, Maida, salt, and baking soda in a bowl. Mix well. Add water little by little and knead into a stiff dough. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 15–20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, roll the dough into a thin sheet and cut small circles using a small lid or cutter. Heat oil in a Kadia and deep fry the puris on medium flame. Press gently so that puris puff up. Fry until golden and crispy. Remove and store in an airtight container.
